In Your Shoes - listening to Patient and Whānau experiences.
At Hutt Valley District Health Board we take great pride in the quality of care we provide. But we know we don’t get it right all the time, and there is room for improvement.
Our aim is to provide our patients and their whānau and all our communities with consistently safe, compassionate, high quality care across all our services. We need your help to do this.
‘Shaping our Values’ is a programme to involve staff, patients and whānau in designing the experience they would like at Hutt Valley DHB.
As part of this programme, during the week of 22nd May - 26th May 2017 we will listen to your experiences of care at 'In Your Shoes' listening events, to help us understand how we can improve for our patients and your whānau.
- This site is for patients and whānau to register for the ‘In Your Shoes' sessions.
- There will be around 30 patients and whānau and 30 members of staff in each session
- Each session is 2 hours long for patients and whānau
- At the session you will be paired with a member of staff who will listen to you talk about your experiences in our care in detail
- We will then explore the common themes in people's experiences across the group
- Your feedback will be completely confidential
To take part and share your experiences with us, please register to attend one of the following sessions using the 'register' button (top right):
- Monday 22nd May, 1pm - 3pm
- Wednesday 24th May, 3pm - 5pm
